A virtual consultative meeting between the Chairman, Private Sector Task Force for COVID-19 (Dasho Ugen Tsechup Dorji) and Chairman of the Southern COVID-19 Task Force, Phuentsholing (Secretary, MoHCA) was held on 7th July 2021. The meeting took stock of issues, discussed and agreed on enhanced facilitative measures that could be put in place within the national COVID-19 containment protocol. Among others, the consultation focused more on the MDP service and trade & transit facilitation measures.
This meeting was also attended virtually by the President, BCCI, Secretary-General, BCCI, Mr. Singye Namgyel Dorji, member representing export trade and Mr. Thinley Dorji, President of the Hardware Association of Bhutan.
