Bhutan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCI) is in receipt of an Invitation from the Royal Bhutanese Embassy (RBE), Dhaka, also an invitation from the ‘Diplomatic Spouses’, Dhaka to attend a mela named Bijoy Mela 50 and Christmas Carnival 2021 in Dhaka from 10-11 December 2021 to mark the 50th Victory Day Celebration of Bangladesh and celebration of Christmas 2021.
The RBE, Dhaka is given an open ground stall measuring 10ftx8ft at the Mela venue. We can utilize the stall to display and sell varieties of products including Art and Crafts, Handicrafts, Apparels, Designer clothing, Jewelries, Paintings, Gift Items, Household goods, Fashion Accessories, Antiques, Books, Cosmetics and local and Food items. The spouses of the diplomats are given this opportunity to promote their country by displaying and selling the products.
As this is a good platform to promote our trade and tourism, the RBE Dhaka has decided to liaise with relevant agencies in Bhutan to participate in the event to promote ourselves. For your kind information, there will be Druk air flights to Dhaka on 8th, 11th and 18th December 2021. There is also the possibility of an additional flight in the fourth week of November.
If the agencies cannot attend in person, we would like to request for clear labelling of the products and some brochures to accompany. Brochure could be in hard copy or even soft copy is ok if you do not have one la. The RBE Dhaka will be happy to facilitate in printing the brochures, posters and arrange somebody to operate the stall with our support from behind the scene.
