Virtual workshop on Cyber Security between Karnataka (India) and Bhutan – Thursday, 18 August 2022

The Indian Embassy  in partnership with the Department of Information Technology and Telecom, Ministry of Information and Communications, Royal Government of Bhutan; the Government of Karnataka [Department of Electronics, Information Technology, Biotechnology and Science & Technology]; and the K-Tech Centre of Excellence for Cyber Security, Bangalore, Karnataka [https://cs-coe.iisc.ac.in/about/about-us/] – is organizing a virtual workshop on Building a Robust Cybersecurity System & Sharing of Learnings between Karnataka (India) and Bhutan on Thursday, 18 August 2022 at 11 am.

In this regard, BCCI would like to invite interested participate for the aforementioned workshop which will provide a platform for knowledge sharing and exchange of information among the officials an professionals in the ICT sector from Bhutan and Karnataka. The workshop also includes a showcase by a leading Indian startup in cybersecurity –viz.  Prophaze  [https://prophaze.com/about/]  — and a Q&A Session that will be open for all participants.

The Indian state of Karnataka – the Silicon Valley of India – is globally renowned for its nurturing ecosystem that has facilitated the growth of innovation and entrepreneurship. The Government of Karnataka plays the role of an enabler through the Global Innovation Alliance program for collaboration with leading innovation hubs of the world in providing opportunities for startups in Karnataka to obtain global exposure.
