The Business Support Department (BSD) serves as the primary business facilitation and member service arm of the Chamber. It is dedicated to promoting the growth, competitiveness, and sustainability of Bhutan’s private sector by providing a wide range of support services to entrepreneurs, CSIs, MSMEs, and established businesses. Acting as a bridge between the private sector, government, financial institutions, and international partners, BSD offers business advisory services, trade and market access promotion, networking events, trade fairs and exhibitions, business delegations, B2B matchmaking, entrepreneurship development, capacity building, and market information dissemination. Its annual programmes are delivered under three broad areas: Networking and Business Linkages, Hosting and Participation in Trade Fairs & Exhibitions, and Private Sector HR & Capacity Building. Through these initiatives, BSD strengthens Bhutanese enterprises, expands market opportunities, fosters innovation and partnerships, and supports employment generation and sustainable economic growth.
