Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) Program

ICRISAT is executing an ITEC course on “COMPREHENSIVE LEARNING ON INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS FOR POLICY LEVEL INTERVENTIONS IN INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT” from 4th December 2023 to 16th December 2023 at Hyderabad, India.

The course is being offered as part of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) program and is fully sponsored by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.

Course Information:

This course aims to provide comprehensive overview of the existing IP system over the globe including various types of intellectual property rights, applicable laws and implementation structures, IP policies and relevant IP standards followed in the national and international context. The objective is to also enable the participants with requisite insights on the IP policy implementation challenges which would help the participants to identify and work on the improvement areas for policy level interventions in the domain of intellectual property.

Who should apply? – Officials Of the National Governments, Professionals from Public Sector Organizations, Research Institutions, And Academic Institutions from Global South (Africa, Latin America and The Caribbean, And Asian Countries) Involved in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, And Intellectual Property Management
