International Business Opportunities Seminar with the ADB – Invitation for participation

Asian Development Bank in collaboration with Export-Import Bank of India, Federation of Indian Export Organizations, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Builders Association of India and National Highways Builders Federation is organizing “International Business opportunities Seminar” on 29th November 2018 at Hotel The Lalit Ashok in Bengaluru, India.

It is aimed to encourage the business community from ADB member countries for participating in ADB projects. The seminar will focus on i) access to ADB’s opportunities through an online demonstration of ADB website; ii) provide information on national and international business opportunities available under the ADB funded projects; iii) presentations by the Government agencies implementing ADB funded projects on business opportunities available in their respective projects; and iv) presentation of case studies on successful bidding. The seminar will also provide an opportunity for the participants to make individual queries to ADB’s procurement specialists including any suggestions to improve the procurement outcomes of ADB-financed projects.

Participation in ADB-funded projects offers various advantages like interest-free mobilization advancers, transparent and fair procurement procedures, International Federation of Consulting Engineers conditions of contract etc.

The ADB is a Multilateral Development Bank established in 1966 with a mission to help its developing member countries reduce poverty and improve the quality of life of their people. ADB funds various projects in transport, energy, urban, agriculture and natural resources, and human development.
