He completed his higher secondary education from Gyelposhing Higher secondary School and middle and lower education from Tangmachu middle secondary school. She completed her education from the Damphu Higher secondary School in Tsirang and did her Diploma course in commercial accounting from Rigsum Institute of Information Technology, Thimphu. She worked for BCCI since the beginning of May 2007.
