ELSP Scholarship Offer

The BCCI is pleased to announce the EPSL scholarship offers. The ELSP scholarship is designed to contribute to the development of private sector. It supports outstanding emerging entrepreneurs, private companies, or self-employed persons as qualified applicants for scholarship to upgrade their business and competitive skills with a relevant Masters degree.
The programme offers support for Masters Degree in the following fields/university:
1. The General Management MBA at Copenhagen Business School is supplemented by a M.Sc. specializing in agribusiness at University of Copenhagen, recognizing the potential of the agricultural sector in Programme partner countries.
2. Internationally-recognized MBA courses offered by Business School in South Africa will be added to the ELSP.
Kindly note that the element of scholarship support will cover 90%of the total cost. 100% scholarship may also be considered on case-by cases, if the individual has excellent academic records and comes from a disadvantage background.
The last date to receive the nomination to the HRD section, BCCI is on or before 27th April, 2009 along with the following documents complete in all respect. Female applicants are particularly encouraged.
1. Duly completed BCCI-HRD (Ex-country) form
2. Recommendation/Nomination from their respective agencies
3. CID photocopy
4. Security Clearance Certificate
5. Duly completed fallowship form – 2 copies (you may downloaded from www.dfcentre.com)
6. Letter from the guarantor to contribute 10% fees
7. Academic transcripts (Class X & above)
The applicants must have a Bachelor degree or equivalent to economics, agricultural economics or business & minimum of two years of working experience.
Note: the scholarship nomination will be competitive among the Danida’s Programme country therefore, only suitable candidate must be nominated as the nomination will be further scrutinized by the relevant University committees.
